Gotsezhy (2 days)
Gotsezhy, which in Spanish means “Renail,” is a W iwa indigenous refuge based in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
This excursion consists of a trek to that refuge, where you can enjoy the best preserved landscapes, you will have the opportunity to explore rivers and disconnect completely from the outside world, you can better understand its worldview and beliefs, through multiple activities, but above all the importance of ethnic and cultural diversity.
The indigenous refuge also has an access that allows for only 15 minutes of walking approximately, discover the majestic natural pool of the waterfall “Matuna” (El Encanto), where you can take a bath in its refreshing waters.

Day 1
Santa Marta – Vereda San Martin – Santa Marta

- 10 : 00 a.m. (approx) Arrival in the village Wiwa Gotsezhy, there you will live an experience of cultural exchange with the community (accompaniment by indigenous guide).
- 1 . 00 a.m. Ecological walk for approximately 5 minutes until you reach aa sacred place, enwhere you will have the opportunity deto have a spiritual encounter with the indigenous Mamo of the tribe.
- 1 : 30 p.m. seto take the typical Lunch of the region, made by indigenous Wiwa hands.
- TardedeAfternoon free to enjoy a natural pool called El Encanto.
- 5 : 00 p.m. we start to return to the lugarplace of accommodation and enjoy dea magical night of traditional delacommunity dances

Vereda San Martin . Guachaca . Santa Marta
- 8 . 00 a.m. Breakfast at the lugarplace of accommodation
- Visit to ancestral and cultural sites in the area
- Visit to the village for exhibition of traditional handicrafts
- 12 : 00 m. (approx). Typical lunch
- 2 . 00 p.m. Back-to-back trek retornoto Guachaca, enwhere eltransport will be
waiting to return to Santa Marta.
